Catherine Hoggle, the mother of Sarah and Jacob Hoggle, has been reindicted for their murder.
The brother and sister were just two and three years old when they disappeared in Montgomery County in 2014. Their bodies were never found.
Catherine Hoggle was initially charged with their murders, but the charges were dropped when she was deemed not competent to stand trial. She had been living in a mental facility in Jessup, Maryland.
A grand jury returned the indictment Thursday, and she was arrested Friday in Kent County after the state found out she had been discharged on July 23, according to the Montgomery County State’s Attorney’s Office.
She is facing two counts of first-degree murder and is expected in court Monday.
