A man will be charged with murder after a woman was found stabbed to death in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Friday night, according to police.
At 9:52 p.m., police responded to a report of an unconscious person with injuries to their upper body in the 3900 block of Terrace Drive in Annandale, Virginia.
When police arrived to the home, they found a woman from Alexandria named Isha Koroma, 26. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
Detectives believe a man from Maryland named Musa Kargbo, 42, went to Annandale to fatally stab Koroma. Detectives said this does not appear to be a random act because they believe Kargbo and Koroma know each other.
Kargbo was taken into custody Saturday morning Lanham, Maryland, by Prince George’s County police. He will then be extradited to Fairfax County where he will be charged with second degree murder.
Detectives are conducting interviews and processing evidence to determine what led up to the stabbing.
