Police search for suspect in 3 separate Prince George's County Beltway shootings

Maryland State Police are searching for a suspect connected to three separate overnight highway shootings in Prince George’s County.

Police say a car was struck by gunfire Monday around 10:30 p.m. on Maryland Route 5 at Allentown Road.

It happened again right before 10:50 p.m. on the ramp from Northbound Route 5 to the Outerloop of the beltway. No one was hurt.

The third happened Tuesday morning just before 1:30 a.m.on southbound 495-95 at Ardwick Ardmore Road. A driver told police he was shot through his car and drove himself to the hospital for treatment.

Police describe the suspect’s car as a red or burgundy Sedan, possibly a Dodge Challenger or Charger.
